In today’s episode, I’m sitting down with Mary Lenaburg - she’s an incredible woman who shares her witness and her journey to healing in an amazingly authentic way. I truly believe that when each one of us is able to share the story of how God has redeemed the brokenness in our story and in our hearts, it not only gives God glory for the work he does as a divine physician, it also opens up the floor for other women in our own lives to have the courage to do the same.

If you’ve ever stuffed part of your story under the rug and avoided the process of healing out of a desire to fit in, sister, this letter is for you. You are worthy of healing, and you belong.

Topics we talked about in this episode:

  • Mary’s new book, “Be Bold in the Broken,” published by Ave Maria Press

  • How can we work as women to see ourselves the way God sees us and to reject the lies and temptation to compare and compete with the women in our lives

  • Growing to fully embrace the plans God has for us as Catholic women today

  • Mary’s advice to you if you’re just starting out on your own journey of healing

  • The difference between fitting in and belonging

  • Finding our own charisms and mission field to be bold in our own broken
